Fear Not: Christmas @ THe Bridge 2018
Gather with us this Christmas season for a new sermon series, Fear Not.
And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” (Luke 2:10–12, ESV)
Fear attacks us right where our faith lives and keeps us from stepping into the plans God has for us. Created for the Christmas season, Fear Not helps us wrestle with fear and transform it into faith and obedience. We will be looking at the titles of Jesus declared in Isaiah 9:6 and how this good news brings hope to our fear.
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6, ESV)
